What began as a bold decision to leave behind my high-achieving life and travel the world became something much deeper: a full-body initiation into what it means to live from the soul. Over nine months and 18 countries, I stayed in the homes of dozens of strangers, followed synchronicities across continents, and surrendered to the unraveling of everything I thought I knew.
This book chronicles my descent into the unknown — where grief cracked me open, love undid me, and the strangers I met became mirrors for the parts of myself I had long abandoned. Through the fire of loss, heartbreak, and spiritual reckoning, I didn’t just rebuild: I remembered. I reclaimed the parts of me that had been buried under performance, perfection, and pleasing. The Burning Ground is an intimate, unfiltered memoir about what it truly takes to return to your truth and say yes to the life that’s been waiting for you all along.

Ok finished the last couple of pages. And wow it hit home Probably because I was living it as I read it. And still am. I think inspiring is still the word I would use. And very human. I finally heard the voice within today. The one you talked about in the book. But I didn’t know what to name it or what her purpose was until you named it so clearly in the book.
