Training leaders to articulate their lived experience into stories that influence and connect.

I was recently interviewing a man who had spent four years studying in Nepal, under the same doctor who treated the Dalai Lama.

He was a researcher by trade, skeptical of everything. He had watched Dr. Naram spend six minutes with each patient and send them out the door changed... and still couldn’t believe it.

Until his own father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and he had nowhere else to turn.

His father went in, and walked out with light in his eyes, a spirit that hadn’t moved through him since when he was healthy, believing for the first time that he was going to heal.

    Six months later, he had.

When he asked Dr. Naram how — the answer stopped me cold.

The doctor told him that every other doctor had seen his father as a collection of broken parts. He, on the other hand, saw him as whole. And his father felt that... He felt seen, understood, and received.

Then, Dr. Naram asked: do you know what the greatest human need is?
    The man guessed love.

The doctor shook his head and laughed.

«It’s close... But our greatest need is to be understood.»
I heard that and felt chills.

Because I saw myself in it immediately. I saw my clients in it.

Here’s what I’ve learned, both from Dr. Naram’s story and from my own years of coaching: you can’t demand to be understood. The demand for it actually pushes it further away.

What creates it is something much simpler — dropping into your own heart and seeing the person across from you as whole. Not through the pattern they’re running or the story they’re collapsed inside of, but the wholeness underneath it all.

That’s what Dr. Naram did. That’s what shifted my coaching practice. And I believe it’s what changes every room you walk into, too.

What would change in your leadership if you brought that kind of seeing into your most difficult conversations?

When Victoria first came to me, money was the measurement — of her worth, her value, how hard she’d worked. And underneath all of it, how much her father loved her.

She’d built a real coaching practice. Stanford, Berkeley, clients who told her she’d changed their lives. And still, every number landed as a referendum on whether she was enough.

So we didn’t start with her prices. We started with whose voices were actually running her money story — the parents, the culture, the little girl who learned somewhere that love had to be earned. We named them, one by one, and worked out which ones were even hers. Most of them weren’t… they were an inheritance she was ready to let go of.

Somewhere in there, the story got quieter. Money stopped being the verdict. She said it had become “another tool in the container of my business” — a way to put a boundary on her work and give it structure, and that’s all it had to be. Freedom and peace got to live somewhere money couldn’t reach.

This is the part most high-achievers skip on the way to the next goal. You can hit every target you set and still feel broke, because the money was never really about the money. It was about what you’d subconsciously decided it said about you.

Victoria changed what it said. The numbers followed.

🎧 There’s a moment where Victoria names the exact voice she had to separate from her own before she could raise her prices. That part is worth the whole episode. Comment PODCAST and I’ll send it to you.

People don`t respond to your words. They respond to what`s underneath them.

I remember the first time I realized this.

It was 2020, and I was lying in bed with my then-partner. He made a critical comment toward me — the kind he`d made a hundred times before. But this time, something in my body shifted.

It was as if my body had decided I would no longer be spoken to that way.

So I very calmly turned my attention on him and said:

    "You know what? F**k you."

This was not my usual move. I was born in the kind of household that would wash my mouth out with soap for saying something like that.

But it was the most integrated "f**k you" I`d ever uttered in my life.

His eyes widened. "Fair enough," he said sheepishly.

He never spoke to me that way again.

The words were almost beside the point.

He felt what I call "The Carrier Wave"... the transmission underneath our words: the tone, my nervous system, the certainty in my body. This is the part people feel beyond the words you say out loud.

You`re picking up on this all the time — like when someone apologizes but you know they don`t mean it. Or someone pitches you, and you don`t trust it.

What you`re feeling is the transmission. The unseen carrier wave.

When you express, you`re asking to be witnessed. When you transmit, you lead people somewhere.

If you`re leading rooms, writing a book, delivering a message meant to change lives — this is the layer we`ll train together starting June 29th. 10 spots. 5 still open.

    Comment the word ARTICULATE.

(And just so we`re clear — I`m not suggesting you go tell someone to f**k off and blame it on me. 😉)

My book has just hit #42 on the USA Today National Bestseller list... I am shaken. In tears. In absolute disbelief and gnosis all the same, because I knew this day would come when I put pen to paper in May 2016 and started writing my story.

I knew back then, before “knowing”, that this was not just my story... it was a reckoning. An initiation, a declaration that something bigger was out there waiting for me, and that I was meant for it.

What ensued was a journey to reclaim my soul and to remember, at my core, Who I Am Here To Be.

I made hard decisions. I faced my darkest shadows in ways that I never thought I could. I summoned my power, and again, to walk through The Burning Ground not once, not twice, but dozens of times...

All in the name of my soul’s evolution. And knowing that if I kept walking, one foot in front of the other, in devotion to my path and my purpose in the world... I would find it.

I wrote this book because I knew this story was not just for me. It was for you, for each of us endeavoring to remember why we came here, what this is all for, and what’s next.

It’s an allegory, a companion, and an invitation into your own soul’s remembering.

What if your story is not the ultimate truth of who you are... but rather, an imperfect map that marks the territory of our soul’s curriculum, holding our beliefs, memories, fears, and hopes?

Once we know how to read the map... we know what patterns to break, what doubts to shed, and what narratives are now ready for us to rewrite.

Pick up a copy of the book if you’re ready to go on this journey with me and into yourself to rewrite the story of your Soul...

And if you’re in the USA, pick up a copy of the paper tomorrow because The Burning Ground has made it to print!!

Have you lived something that, if shared, could transform someone`s life?

I once slept in the homes of 70+ strangers, across 18 countries in nine months.

Here`s what that taught me: Everyone has a story to tell.

But very few know how to tell their story so that it utterly transforms the person sitting in front of them.

Most people share their story for catharsis, to be witnessed, to make sense of what happened. This is expression. It is beautiful and so human.

But `expression` alone is a limitation when your livelihood depends on you using your words to change minds, spread ideas, and transform the lives of other human beings.

Whether it`s in a boardroom, a coaching session, on social media, or on a public stage.

If you have life experience and a body of work that changes lives, you already know it`s not enough to just relay what happened to you.

You need to know how to turn lived experience into something another person can trust, follow, and act on.

    You need to know…

👉 When and how to source your voice from your gut and your heart, versus your head.
👉How to hold your ground when the thing you`re about to say will have consequences.
👉How to read the room and shift the atmosphere entirely through tone, words, and your own energy.

If you`re a speaker, writer, or business leader whose work depends on your ability to influence people — I`m opening a tight container for people like you starting June 29th. 10 spots max.

For a long time, every time I heard the word “scaling,” my body tightened.

Push, push, push. Grow, grow, grow. Go, go, go. That very strong, borderline toxic energy of you must scale the thing because it’s growing.

Then I sat down to interview a man, a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold several companies from scratch, and now works as a fractional CTO and CFO for companies scaling to 20 million, 100 million, and beyond.

When he spoke about scaling, his body didn’t tighten. His language was soft, alive, vibrant.

He described growth as a seed in the earth that needs the right environment to sprout into an oak tree.

And then he said something I haven’t been able to stop thinking about...

“Celinne, you can’t pull growth. You can’t reach down into the seed and pull it out into a tree. You can only create the conditions for that growth to happen. And the better the conditions, the faster and easier it will become.”

It was such a different way of seeing what I’d been hearing my whole career.

Because the reason most high-achieving leaders I know are exhausted isn’t because they aren’t doing enough. It’s because they’ve been trying to pull a tree out of a seed for years. Pulling at their business, their relationships, and themselves to be more, do more, become more. Faster, harder, sooner.

And the result is the same as it would be in nature: the thing either dies, or it grows in spite of you... Rarely because of it.

The leaders I watch scale with grace, in their work and in their lives, aren’t pushing harder than everyone else. They’re paying attention to what their ecosystem actually needs. They’re asking a different question.

I wrote a full piece breaking this down on Substack, and recorded the audio training that walks through the actual conditions, the specific question to ask yourself when you notice you’re pulling, and what shifts when you stop, inside my Living From Soul membership.

One of the things I most struggle with is the fear of making mistakes.

It’s that yearning to do something really well. To get it right, and to get it right the first time. To want my first draft to be my final draft.

    Can you relate?

I have conversations day in and day out with clients, colleagues, and friends about how deeply it is important to us to operate excellently... and the shadow side of that is perfectionism.

Although I’ve done loads of internal work around this, the most effective way I’ve been able to untangle this pattern from my system has been through dance.

I’ve been learning salsa and bachata for two years now, and I joked the other day with a group of colleagues that dance has taught me more about personal development than most workshops and seminars have. This is because it’s an actual chance to practice and embody the inner work.

One of my dance teachers is a sweet, lighthearted guy who has a way of bringing me back to my body and making me laugh while I’m learning.

The other day, I made a little mistake and stepped on his foot.

    His response GOT me:

“Don’t worry about the mistake. Just focus on the solution.”

It was such a passing thing for him to say, but in that moment, I felt that code land.

A few weeks later, I asked a fellow male dancer what makes a woman fun to dance with. He said it has nothing to do with skill once you’re past the basics — the fun ones are the ones who, when they mess up, just tweak, adjust, and move on. They find a solution. Same teaching, coming from someone who didn’t know my teacher. Coincidence, much?

It’s not about making the mistakes... It’s about who I am when I catch them. How I respond to them. Whether I take accountability and how quickly I move forward towards something better.

At the end of the day, what matters the most is how you feel in the creative process.

    🚀 Full transmission on Substack.

P.S. In the full piece I share the inquiry I keep returning to: what new skills am I actually learning right now, and where am I afraid to make mistakes? Link in bio

The Burning Ground: One Woman’s Journey to Reclaim Her Soul and Ignite Her Inner Fire has officially dropped to the public!

🔥We’ve decided to keep the launch bonuses open for ONE more week, through June 2, to give you one last real window to be part of this movement.

If you are someone who has been navigating a major life crossing — whether that is a career reinvention, a relationship ending, a version of yourself that no longer fits, or simply the quiet but persistent feeling that the life you have built is asking for something more true — this book was written for you.

And when you order, you also get immediate access to a set of experiences I designed to help you go from feeling lost in your own story to actually being able to tell it, lead with it, and use it to move others.
